Renee's Graduation Party was at a beautiful home in the Los Gatos Hills. Teens partied with a great DJ, ate delicious asian cuisine and even swam in the pool.

Wedding
Fan and Richard's Wedding was at the Pulgas Water Tower in Woodside then at the Tai Pan Hong Kong Style Cuisine in Palo Alto. The bride changed her dress from a traditional white gown during the ceremony to a traditional Chinese dress for the reception.

Jacob and Alexa's B'nai Mitzvah
Jacob and Alexa are 13 year old twins who couldn't decide on a theme for their B'nai Mitzvah party so they thought of the one thing they both like, carnivals! With the help of Rick Herns Productions and the Mountain Winery we created a festive carnival theme with a coke bottle toss, donut machine, flip book machine, centerpieces that looked like popcorn and a personalized candy bar sign.

Arielle's Bat Mitzvah
Arielle's Bat Mitzvah was a cowboy theme with real hay on the sign-in table, horseshoes to hold down balloons, burlap as runners on the kids' tables and sheafs of wheat as centerpieces. Placecards were purple and silver bandanas wrapped with twine holding name cards.

Nathan's Bar Mitzvah
Nathan's Bar Mitzvah was a Purim Carnival. We had dinner and dancing first then all the kids went into the gym and outside for rock climbing, bunje jumping, defender dome dodgeball, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, FUZE obstacle course. Parents had board games, photobooth, and music for their entertainment although we caught many parents trying to climb the rock wall! Chocolate fountain and prizes for game winners topped off the evening.

Mack's Bar Mitzvah
Many Bar/Bat Mitzvah families ask me, “How can we make the room look like a night club?” For Mack’s Bar Mitzvah, we used red polka dot uplighting on the walls, black and silver lounge furniture and martini glass centerpieces with glass “ice” lit up from inside the glass. Glittery table numbers made the darkened room glow.

Denise and Dave's Wedding
Denise and Dave’s Wedding was the last wedding held at the La Playa Hotel in Carmel before it closed on October 31. The staff was wonderful, the sunset was beautiful, and the party went on all night! At the tables, each place setting had a small pine sprig tucked into the napkin which brought out the green in the table cloths and brought a nice pine smell to the room. The cocktail hour featured a steel drum player which everyone loved! The place card board was made by Christy Altman in beautiful green fabric with jeweled buttons. The photographer John Kaemmerling and his wonderful assistants created a slideshow about an hour after the ceremony and placed their computer on the sign-in table for all to see. They also created a sign-in book before the wedding using engagement shots.

Have you heard of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport? What about the Koenigsegg Agera R? Both sports cars were featured at my client Adam's Bar Mitzvah! Well,
the cars were not there in person, the $2.8M Bugatti Veyron Super Sport which
has hit 246.4 MPH was just one of the cars featured as table names and in
pictures as part of Adam's Bar Mitzvah decor at the Mountain Winery in
Saratoga.
Both the service and party were held at the beautiful Mountain Winery. The service, led by Adam and his tutor Atara overlooked the gorgeous mountains of Saratoga and beyond. The party's race car theme showcased cars many of us have never heard of before. But Adam, being the computer and art expert that he is, chose the cars and designed his own table signs. Florist Mindy Rosenberg created beautiful and creative centerpieces and accessories to match the theme like personalized oil cans, and decorated the tables with hollowed out tires filled with jelly beans. Mindy also used wheat grass to display the place cards and created spectacular floral displays for the service area under the tent. DJ Alan Waltz and his dancers had not just the kids up and dancing but all the relatives from all over the world. As a fun add-on, we had a photobooth from Mementostrip. Adam's aunt who is a scrapbook aficionado set up a scrapbook table so people can use their photostrip to make a page for the Bar Mitzvah boy. It's a great way to create a sign in book using pictures and people's creativity.The Mt. Molly's Bat Mitzvah

Molly enjoyed the Hora at her Bat Mitzvah party! And the men were even able to lift her very tall father in a chair as well! In addition to fun dancing, a trivia game all about Molly created by sister Lilly, a crepe station and candy bar, Molly created a unique candle lighting ceremony. Instead of candles, which may have blown out at the backyard party, Molly created beautiful duct tape roses and called up honored friends and family to place a rose in a painted pot. Molly worked very hard preparing for her Bat Mitzvah held in her home and her parents created a special day for her to celebrate her accomplishment. Janine and Jonathan's Wedding was an event full of beauty and love for the couple and their families. Janine wore her mother's wedding dress as she walked down the aisle to music by a hired trio but joined by the groom's childhood friend on violin. Held at Congregation Sinai, the social hall was decorated all in white with draped wall coverings and amber lighting, white table cloths and white satin ribbons through the silver chavari chairs.

Ben's Bar Mitzvah
Ben's Bar Mitzvah day began at Congregation Shir Hadash in Los Gatos for a meaningful service using programs designed by Linda Allen and lunch catered by House of Bagels. Family and friends from near and far joined in the service. To celebrate Ben's accomplishments, a party was held at the Toll House whose staff are always professional and friendly. Check out the cool soccer balloon sculpture by Balloonatics who also created centerpieces sporting a soccer figurine on turf and the logo of an overseas soccer club. JJ the DJ did a great job keeping the kids entertained while the Photobooth always had a line of kids ready to pose! Thank you to photographer Joel Gringorten whose pictures are amazing. Joel even took a photo of Ben with the Torah in the morning, printed it at home, framed it and brought it to the party to be displayed on the sign-in table! What a guy! Shay's Beach Mitzvah
Shay's service was at Congregation Sinai in Willow Glen and the party was at The Corinthian in downtown San Jose, an old building with a lot of character and detailed architecture. Each event is special and unique and I love working with families to create a memorable day. This event was particularly emotional for me because Shay's mother Julie, who was my very good friend, passed away just seven months ago from cancer. We worked together to plan every detail down to the napkin colors before she passed and I feel good knowing that we made her vision come to life for her and her child. Her vision for the party was a beach theme and we even called it Shay's Beach Mitzvah. We gave out personalized beach towels and played beach ball games.
Josh of Aaron David Productions was amazing in rallying everyone onto the dance floor and even getting Shay and his friends singing and dancing on the stage in front of everyone. One extraordinary feat that Josh did was get everyone on the dance floor by telling them they were taking a picture and within 2 minutes had everyone doing a line dance, it was the greatest fake-out in Bar Mitzvah history! The dancers were amazing with all the guests and the games were fresh and new. For the photobooth, we used Mementostrip. They are always professional, on time and use good quality products.
